Bell County Law Library

The Bell County Law Library is a self help, basic research facility that provides access to legal resources for the legal community and citizens of Bell County. The Bell County District Clerk's office cannot interpret legal materials or provided legal advice to law library patrons.

Internet Access

The Bell County Law Library has three computer workstations with internet access. The Primary purpose of these computers is to do legal research.

Westlaw and Lexis

Access to Westlaw and Lexis is available at two of the Law Library work stations.

Check Out Policy

The Bell County Law Library does not check out library materials and resources. All resources must be used and remain in the Law Library.

Self Service Copies

Law Library patrons may make their own copies on the Law Library Xerox copier for $0.10 per page. The copier will accept $1 bills and change.


The Bell County Law Library is located on the first floor of the Bell County Justice Complex located at 1201 Huey Road, which is right off of Loop 121 in Belton.

Once you enter the Complex and go through the metal detectors, the Law Library is located toward the right, down a long hallway with windows to one side. Go to the end of the hallway and the Library is on the right.


8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Please Note - The Bell County Law Library is closed during Bell County observed holidays.
